Every time Sam and Ian review an under-the-radar movie on this show, we read the distributor’s own stylized plot description—likely drafted by a team of marketing professionals—before providing our own. And oftentimes, the PR language from the studio fails to accurately describe the movie, leading us to believe we watched something totally different. This week, we decided to really play that up in our version of Brass Monkey’s “Poorly Explained Movies Game.’
