BYU football takes down the Cincinnati Bearcats at Nippert Stadium, 26-14. The Cougars improve to 10-1 overall and 7-1 in Big 12 play.
KSL Sports BYU Insider Mitch Harper shared his postgame takeaways from Cincinnati as the Cougars showed their toughness on the ground in the win.
LJ Martin rushed for a career high 222 yards and also had 44 receiving yards in the win.
He's the first BYU player since Tyler Allgeier in 2021 to rush for more than 200 yards on the ground.
BYU kept Cincinnati's ground attack in check as Brendan Sorsby had to lean on his arm, but the Bearcats dropped their third consecutive game.
