"Coping With Covid-19" (Pt. 3 of 3)

Series Summary:

If I have anything to offer in the way of advice, regarding mental health, self-care and emotional well being, during this Covid-19 pandemic, it's concentration on these three things: 1. Appetite 2. Obligations 3. Practices.

Covid-19 has pulled the rug from under us, but while we focus on the dust, the smoke and broken mirrors, the fact is solid ground remains. This pandemic is an opportunity to get grounded; to see things as they are, quietly humming along — the proverbial hand of God that is always working behind the scenes.

In the fog of our own activities (mental and physical) this hand we don't see. Coping with the Covid-19 pandemic — a worldwide crisis that renders many things uncertain and causes us to confront our limits — in my mind, can be distilled into these three things, all of which are matters of perception.
