Description

I believe that if we have an understanding of who God says we are and what He has called us to do, then we can look forward and pray proactively to preempt some things that would threaten our purpose, instead of looking back and repenting for stuff we let derail us.

Today we’re talking through the six steps to start something new that I developed for my original 1:1 coaching program and used to launch my most recent venture, Rightly Instructed. While my coaching model is evolving (that’s another episode for another day!), these foundational principles can’t be missed when you’re on the brink of a new beginning.

Scripture study notes:

  • 2 Chronicles 19:2 (God's response to Jehoshaphat helping Ahab)
  • 2 Chronicles 16:2-3, 7 (Jehoshaphat's father and grandfather's alliances with Syria)
  • Hebrews 12:1 (the sin that so easily besets us)
  • 1 Corinthians 6:12 (not all things are expedient)
