Skylar Meade, a man who escaped from a Boise prison by cutting his wrists, pleaded guilty to killing two men in North Central Idaho. He will spend the rest of his life in prison, avoiding the death penalty. Meade admitted to killing James Mauney and Gerald Don Henderson in March of last year. His friend, Nicholas Umphenour, assisted in the escape and is charged with a felony, but not for the murders.
