Along with SIM card swapping, there is also a new scam on YouTube where YouTubers buy accounts with high subscriber numbers and then try to get viewers to send them crypto in order to receive a larger amount. Even though it seems like these scams could not possibly work, they must be working because scammers continue to use those methods.
