Every election season Puerto Ricans are once again reminded that their status as colonized people means that they cannot exercise their power through voting. Those in the diaspora end up becoming bargaining chips in a nonsensical game played by both parties in the US. Meanwhile the hopeful candidate for governor in Puerto Rico is running on the platform for a "Patria Nueva" / New Country. In this short episode I share some personal thoughts and opinions as well as some comments/statements and posts.
