Quantum Game Jam EN
Description
This is our first episode in English!
Quantum Game Jam is a 48 hours event to form a team and build a prototype of a game together that would use an actual quantum computer.
In February I went to Helsinki and had a blast! Great people, cold and sunny weather that we enjoyed from the safety of the venue and actual quantum computer from IBM to play with!
In this episode we have several interesting guests. The first one is Sabrina Maniscalco, who is a professor of physics and one of the people who came up with the idea to organize Game Jams and tackle actual physical problems with them. Her partner in crime, Annakaisa Kultima is a professional game designer and a director of Finnish Game Jam. Finally, James Wootton has designed several quantum games himself (read his medium post about it) and is currently developing a quantum computer in IBM research.
Put on your headphones, get out for a walk and join our discussion on quantum computation, power of games and true quantum randomness!
Music of the episode: Slinte — Denis Murphys Polka.
