Bio: I have a BS, JD,MSW, MSUP and LlM and have taught, researched, and published in law, socialwork, and urban and environmental planning for over 40 years. I have also beenappointed to advisory commissions by three state governors and threepresidents. I have published numerous law reviews, including two that were thefirst on the topic in their respective genres. I have published nine volumes ofencyclopedias, some with my wife, Robin Morris Collin. Two were the first intheir genre - the book on the EPA was mine. The 3-volume set on sustainabilitywas ours. My book, Battleground Environment, two volumes, describes the 100most controversial environmental issues from the perspective of community,government, and industry. I have also been certified as an expert witness inboth US federal court and state courts. I have won 2 awards, chosen by studentsfor teaching excellence.
My book, The Climate Adaptation Generation: A Blueprint forthe Future, was awarded the best climate change book in the US in 2025.Accepted for review for the 2025 Pulitzer Prize
