Description

Roger Marsh, director of the National Fellowship of Raceway Ministries, interviews Tim Bozarth, chaplain at several short tracks in the St. Louis area, who brings forth some very significant points of wisdom and application for Christian ministry in motorsports.  Dr. Marsh dialogues with Bozarth regarding his upbringing as a pastor's son, and then converses with him about how he became involved in ministry to people in racing.  Bozarth shares details about his role as chaplain to several short tracks around St. Louis, and in the process provides some great advice and wisdom regarding the role of the chaplain, activities and strategies that are effective in motorsports chaplain work, and the perspectives that should characterize anyone who desires to step into Raceway Ministries work.  Dr. Marsh and Bozarth also discuss strategies for an upcoming project -- getting Raceway Ministries started at World Wide Technology Raceway in East St. Louis, as NASCAR's Cup Series competes there in 2022
