Batchelor, who previously won a Pride of Nursing award, shared images targeting immigrants and quoted a Bible verse warning about foreigners gaining power. She also mocked security checks at airports versus people arriving by boat at Dover. Batchelor, who rose from being a cleaner to ward manager, confessed to her actions, apologized to her family and friends, and even stated she shouldnt have the privilege of nursing anymore. The Nursing and Midwifery Council agreed and struck her off the register, ending her career.
