They begin with a quick overview of radiation therapy including the different types of radiation therapy, terms you may hear during your treatment and what you can expect once you and your radiation oncologist agree to treat your cancer with radiation therapy. Afterward, they will walk you through the logistics of your pretreatment planning, day-to-day treatment and introduce you to the members of the radiation oncology treatment team.
