Confessore discusses the ASO’s concert performing the works of American film composer John Williams, as heard in the films of Steven Spielberg. He talks about what Williams’ means to classical musicians today, why “E.T.” still means so much to him and why he felt it important to include a few “deep cuts” to celebrate the legacy of arguably the greatest film composer ever.
