Last week was a look-back at a classic issue of Marvel’s What If? from 1981. The question was: What If Phoenix Had Not Died?

This was released a few months after the Dark Phoenix Saga. It almost feels like perhaps fans weren’t too happy over the death of Jean. Maybe this was Marvel’s way to show them what would’ve happened if she survived. Spoiler; things get really really bad.
