GOD COUNTS EVERY DETAIL

Our meditation today is entitled: God Counts EveryDetail. When Jesus says that "the very hairs of your head are allnumbered," he wants to emphasize that God's love and concern include thesmallest things in human life. There is not a single detail of our existencethat escapes His knowledge and attention. He is omniscient and all things arein His knowledge.

This expression contains a priceless depth of faith:that God is not only the great Being in heaven, but also the God who is near, who counts every single hair of our heads, every tear, and every step we take.He knows us more than we know ourselves.

The figure of Abraham is a clear example of faith thattrusts every detail of God's guidance. When God called him to leave hishomeland for a land he did not yet know, Abraham did not demand maps orcertainty. He just followed step by step according to God's commands. Abraham'sfaith was not a blind faith, but faith of awareness and obedience—believingthat every step God led had meaning and purpose. Therefore, he is called"the father of all believers."

Abraham's story reminds us that true faith is not justabout believing in big things, but also faithfulness in small things. Ineveryday life, God speaks through seemingly trivial events—through work, encounters, difficulties, or even solitude. When we learn to pay attention tothe details of life the way God cares, we begin to recognize the traces of Hishand hidden behind our daily routines.

As Abraham's children in faith, we are called toemulate his faithful obedience. We don't always know where life's path willtake us, but we can choose to walk with God who counts every detail of oursteps. When we faithfully follow His will and teachings, even in smallthings—loving our neighbors, forgiving, being patient, working honestly—we areparticipating in the great plan of salvation. We are following the guidance ofHis Spirit.

Finally, true faith is not about knowing all theanswers, but rather believing that God holds every answer. He never closes Hiseyes in regulating our lives, even down to the smallest details. So, when wefeel that life is uncertain or our plans are not going as expected, remember:God is counting every detail with love. In His hands, nothing is wasted; allwill be fine in time for those who continue to believe and walk in faith likeAbraham.

Let us pray. In the name of the Father ... O most loving God,increase our faith if we forget and are not aware of Your presence in everylife event that we experience. Glory to the Father and to the Son and to theHoly Spirit ... In the name of the Father ...
