We speak with Amanda Kranias of Blue Manatee Literacy Project and Bookstore about how our communities shape the businesses within them, and vice versa. Blue Manatee donated over 15,000 books in just nine months and seeks to make this number even higher in the future, so as to better serve the children in Cincinnati. Amanda speaks of the power of community for Blue Manatee and their goal of giving back and getting involved, with one-to-one donations and Manatanks around the city. In the first year of becoming a non-profit, Blue Manatee was able to donate over 15000 books in nine months!
