Realizing You Can Make a Difference
Description
In this episode, Daniel sits down with the multi-talented Elissa Kruse. They talk about Elissa's journey from GenJ student and campaign volunteer to working full time with HSLDA and GenJ. They also share some insider details about the pivot to The Future of America Conference once iGovern 2020 had to be cancelled. In addition to her other roles, Elissa is a leader and speaker at GenJ's iGovern camps and has a big heart for students and ministry.
Other topics include: The story of how Daniel and Elissa first met at a New Year's party when Daniel was running for president of his GenJ Club, the stresses of being the Treasurer of a GenJ Club, and how, when Elissa was born, Bill Clinton's election may have been what sent her mom into labor!
Note: This episode was recorded right before the Future of America Conference, but post-production was not finished until after the event. We left in most of the conference discussion for context and insight into how the GenJ team preps for events.
