Description

It is okay to ask for help. It is a sign of strength and not weakness. In today’s episode, we talk about my alcohol abuse issues and how to ask for help when you need it. Here are some resources that may help you:

If you are worried you’re going to hurt yourself, please do not do that and ask for help. Call one of the numbers below:

Suicide Prevention Hotline

Call 988 https://988lifeline.org

https://www.thetrevorproject.org

(212) 695-8650

If you cannot afford a counselor or therapist, call The Trevor Project. I have their number saved in my phone. I suggest you do the same. Call them whenever you need to clear your head.

For any local rehabilitation centers near you, you can do a google search and find one that will work for you and that accepts your health insurance. Call your health insurance for more information on how much of your stay can get covered.
