Recovery efforts are ramping up across the Philippines after a second typhoon in one week has left 18 people dead and over 1.4 million people displaced.
Super Typhoon Fung-Wong made landfall in the heavily populated island of Luzon, in the country's northeast, on Sunday evening. It follows closely on the heels of Typhoon Kalmaegi, which struck central Philippines, killing about 200 people and prompting a nationwide emergency declaration.
