Description

In this flavorful episode of Moringa For Life, Jensen cheffs out over red bananas and house-made Moringa hot sauce while diving deep into resilience, roots, and regeneration with Aubrey and Lubitza of Free Up Farm.

Nestled on seven acres of lush permaculture in Dominica, Free Up Farm is more than a tropical oasis — it’s a living model of what rebuilding with intention looks like. After Hurricane Maria ravaged the island, Aubrey returned to his father’s homeland with a mission: to turn devastation into abundance. Alongside Lubitza, they’ve cultivated over 60 tropical food and medicinal plants while building a community-centered model for food, education, and agrotourism.

We talk about:

How Moringa became a cornerstone of their ecosystem — why it matters and how they grow it

Aubrey’s early inspiration from the Moringa For Life course, taken before he even knew where his project would land

The emotional weight of rebuilding after disaster and reconnecting to ancestral land

Designing a diverse seven-acre permaculture system, one plant and principle at a time

Why they believe agrotourism and pay-what-you-can models are the future for food equity in Dominica

This one’s a powerful blend of dirt-under-the-nails practicality and big-picture purpose — seasoned, of course, with a little Moringa hot sauce.
