The importance of praying before everything is undeniable. Not only does God know your heart, but he also knows the hearts of those around you. Look, It doesn't matter what the circumstances are... If you want to glorify God in every aspect of your life and you see any red flags the relationship that you are pursuing/entertaining, just get out! I know you've heard this before, but it wasn't until I experienced it for myself that I really understood what it feels like to unnecessarily waste your time and feelings on someone that you know isn’t for you. Keep God first. Be willing to let go. Don't wait, you'll only make it worse. Bless.
