This week we dig into forgotten records, unexpected discoveries, and the joy of rediscovering albums hiding in our own collections. We talk Blackfoot’s No Reservations, Cat Mother, and the European psych-rock sounds of Savage Rose. We also dive into the legendary Vertigo label and uncover some surprising connections along the way, including Triumph and other heavy hitters. There’s plenty of talk about digging through old collections, discovering great records with family, and passing the love of vinyl on to the next generation. And with a deep dive into Minnesota music waiting around the corner, this episode sets the stage for another rabbit hole we can’t wait to explore.
