In honor of INACSL’s 20th anniversary celebration, we had the pleasure of interviewing the incomparable Dr. Suzan “Suzie” Kardong-Edgren, PhD, RN, ANEF, CHSE, FSSH, FAAN and Dr. Sharon Decker, PhD, RN, FSSH, ANEF, FAAN who have been practicing simulation in nursing and healthcare even before it was even officially called by that name. Season two host Kyle Johnson, PhD, RN, CHSE looks to the past as we envision the future of simulation, and talks with Dr. Kardong-Edgren and Dr. Decker about how they first got their start in simulation, their career journey over the last several decades, and what they think simulationists should focus on in the future.
