Relationships: Gauging Commitment & Figuring Out Who You Want In Your Life
Description
I usually don't let good streams of consciousness go to waste. So I'm publishing a few voice memos I took recently as episode 4!
Today I relay some insights I had during meditation. It was windy on the gorgeous trail I recorded this voice memo on, overlooking much of Los Angeles. I reflect on the overall state (or as I say in the episode, "personality") of the world. Then I give you another insight I had, at another time, about relationships and a good approach you can use to determine who is committed to you and who is not. And remember, both are fine. The same way we don't want to have no-one that is committed to us, we also don't want everybody to be committed to us. What we really want is to give and receive honesty about who is right for our lives and who is not. Or if it's not cut and dry like that (and it usually isn't) to what extent we want someone in our lives. And importantly, do the levels of wanting to be in each others lives match up with each other? Important stuff, let's go to the episode.
