Repentance and Re-formation: Lessons from a Wider Lens
Update: 2019-03-03
Description
With the 500 anniversary of the 95 Theses in our recent memory, we are called to consider what Lutheranism has and will look like in the United States. Through the lens of the Decolonize Lutheranism movement, Dr. Lagerquist will look at ways that Lutherans can look at culture and race in a way that allows for grace, welcome, and inclusivity. She will look at Lutheranism outside of the United States as well, giving us theological resources to foster greater faithfulness to the promise of freedom and reconciliation at the heart of God's gracious love—all in context of Lutheranism, race, and culture.
