Randy Papple was a paramedic for 42 years, ending his service in 2019 as Deputy Chief of Brant County EMS. Randy has seen Post Traumatic Stress takes its toll on many first responders. He has made it his passion to bring resources together so first responders can deal successfully with the challenges that they face with their own mental health doing the incredibly difficult job they do day after day.
We talk about a number of things, including how an incident from 25 years ago came back to haunt him until he got the counselling he needed to resolve the trauma.
