i was hoping there would of been an update on the people that fostered the two children. were they ever investigated ? how did the little girl get the black eye ?
First, I really liked this podcast, however angry it made me feel. I enjoy seeing justice served, especially to a mostly unaccountable state entity. However, I really can't stand Hixenbaugh. He's done some good reporting on medical fraud. Having spent more than a few years in hospitals and surgical suites, there is a real need for cultural reform in the profession. But Hixenbaugh dilutes his message with his own thinly held biases and self guilt over his 'privilege'. It makes me evaluate his editorializing. He digs deep into the facts of the story and attempts to present several views. I wish he would've dug as deeply into his sweeping generalizations or simply left them to a dedicated podcast. 8/10 Would listen again
