Carson Bowen is currently the General Manager for the Wilmington Sharks baseball team. Carson is a graduate of the University of North Carolina - Wilmington, holding degrees in Marketing and Communication Studies. Carson began working with the Sharks in 2014, serving as the radio play-by-play commentator for two seasons before transitioning into Ticket Operations, and now his current role. In his first year as General Manager, Carson led the organization to be named the Coastal Plain League's Organization of the Year for the first time since 2009. Carson serves on the Board of Young Professionals for Communities in Schools of Cape Fear, and was named to the inaugural class of the Star News and Wilmington Chamber of Commerce's 40 Under 40, as well as Wilmington Business Journal's Top 100.
