In this sermon at the Eagle Community Church of Christ in Mont Belvieu, TX, John Gunter talks about the relationship between work/rest, and how we must be intentional about getting the rest we need. For the second week, we talk about Jesus' interaction with the Pharisees concerning what could/could not be done on the Sabbath, and how Jesus reminded the Pharisees of when David ate the consecrated bread meant only for priests. This lesson is important for us to understand the importance of rest, and also it is important to help us understand how to interpret the Bible more faithfully.
