Fr. Joseph, Lauren and special guest Fr. Chris Perrella sit down to discuss why The Lord of the Rings is an intrinsically Catholic work. From way the book encourages virtue, showcases the proper need for sacrifice, illustrates how good vs. evil really works to Lembas bread being a symbol of the Eucharist (physically and spiritually) and the characters representing Christ, the prophets, Mary, the saints (although not strictly in allegorical fashion, and not one for one).
