Retrial Ordered for Pilot Convicted of Murder
Update: 2025-12-11
Description
Former airline pilot Gregory Lynn, convicted of murdering Carol Clay, will face a retrial due to a Court of Appeal decision. The initial trials fairness was compromised by the prosecutions actions, including challenging Lynns credibility without giving him a chance to respond and unfairly attacking their own expert witness. The Court of Appeal upheld two of Lynns four grounds for appeal. Lynn is scheduled to reappear in the Supreme Court on January twenty-eighth.
