قسمت ۱

در این قسمت، الهام بیگی با فاطمه اجاره دار در خصوصِ مدارس مذهبیِ مدرن در ایرانِ پس از انقلاب، تاریخچه ی این مدارس و پیامدهای غیرعمدیِ این مدارس صحبت می کند. همچنین در این قسمت خواهیم شنید که چطور فضای بسیار سختگیرانه و مذهبی این مدارس نتوانسته تاثیر چشمگیری در شکل دهی اندیشه ی دانش آموزان داشته باشد. در حدی که حتی شاهد تغییر تفکری کاملا متضاد با قوانین این مدارس و دولت، در بین بسیاری از فارغ التحصیلان این مدارس هستیم.

 کاندیدِ دکترایِ جامعه شناسیِ از دانشگاه کلگری کانادا است. حوزه ی تحقیقات ایشان در زمینه ی جامعه شناسی سیاسی، جامعه شناسیِ دین، و نحوه عملکرد نظام‌های تحت ظلم در مقیاس‌های مختلف می‌باشد. تمرکز تحقیقات فعلی او بر تلاقی نابرابری‌های قومی، نژادی و جنسیتی و چگونگی تأثیر وضعیت مهاجرتی افراد و عوامل تاریخی و ملی جامعه میزبان بر مهاجران است.

کاندید دکترای فلسفه از دانشگاه مک مسترِ کانادا است. پژوهش های او بیشتر در حوزه ی فلسفه ی حقوق ، به ویژه مسئولیت سیاسی است.

Elham Beygi chats with Fateme Ejaredar about the Modern Religious Schools in post-revolutionary Iran. They discuss the history behind these schools and their unintended consequences. We learn that despite their strict religious environments, these schools do not always succeed in shaping the mindset of their students in the way they intend to do. Many of their graduates eventually experience a shift away from the religious codes imposed by school and the state.

Fateme Ejaredar is a doctoral candidate in sociology at the University of Calgary. She has worked on topics in political sociology, sociology of religion, and how systems of oppression operate in different scales. Her current research focuses on the intersection of ethnic, racial and gender inequalities and how the immigration status and the historical and national factors of the host and home society affect the immigrants. 

Elham Beygi is a doctoral candidate in philosophy at McMaster University, Hamilton, Canada. She holds an LLM in Canadian Common Law from Osgoode Hall Law School and a Master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from York University. Her academic research in legal philosophy primarily focuses on the concept of political obligation.
