Rev. Suzanne Craig & Dr. Melinda Moore - Suicide Prevention Awareness Month
Description
September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month—a time to raise awareness, promote hope, and remind us that reaching out for help is a sign of strength, not weakness. This week on Shaped by Faith, I’ll be joined by two incredible women of faith and compassion:
Rev. Suzanne Craig – Program Manager for Community Access Projects with the Green River District Health Department, ordained minister, and hospital chaplain. Suzanne has dedicated her life to serving vulnerable communities and walking with those experiencing grief.
Dr. Melinda Moore – Licensed psychologist, professor at Eastern Kentucky University, and private practice clinician. Dr. Moore specializes in suicide prevention and grief, training others in evidence-based care while offering hope rooted in both professional expertise and personal experience.
Together, they will share wisdom, encouragement, and practical tools for supporting those who are struggling.
If you or someone you love is hurting, please remember: help is available. Call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline 24/7. You are not alone.
