Review of "Oddity" directed by Damian Mc Carthy 2024
Description
The mansion is oddly maze-like, with lots of staircases, balconies, and sharp corners. It is supposed to be as spookily as possible in ODDITY on Flixtor Movies. Stated differently, it's the ideal setting for some genuine horror. Additionally, Mc Carthy's camera makes great use of the set, varying viewpoints and angles to either hide or highlight persons or items in the most terrifying way imaginable. Furthermore, the mannequin that is at the heart of a lot of the horrific scenes in the movie is an absolutely terrifying sight. An inanimate thing has never been so instantaneously, iconically terrifying as it was during Annabelle's big premiere. The movie's emphasis on terror frequently takes precedence over the screenplay's technical details. Some scenes are conspicuously absent, particularly those that include some major revelations later in the film.
