But his career came tumbling down, quite literally, at the 1991 Open Championship at Royal Birkdale. Richard Boxall takes us through the career that took him to the infamous leg break while in contention at a major championship, how the incident turned his world upside down, crippled him financially and effectively ended his career, and how the end of his golf career led to his journey to the commentary box.
