Description

In this episode, I sit down with Shannon Allbright, a passionate motorcyclist, documentary filmmaker, and community advocate. Known as "Miss Shannon" to the children and parents she inspires through her sewing and embroidery enrichment programs, Shannon shares how her creative passions intersect with her love for motorcycles.

Since starting her motorcycle journey in 2017, Shannon has become the proud owner of four bikes and has ridden across the country for causes close to her heart. Her documentary, 2500 Miles, captures her solo journey from Los Angeles to Selma, Alabama, where she taught sewing to children at the same school where she learned to read and write.

We discuss the launch of the Beverly Hills Motorcycle Club, a social riding club founded by Shannon to support charities in Los Angeles, starting with a January ride to visit veterans at a local hospital. Through her work with veterans, children, and at-risk youth, Shannon is making a difference one ride at a time.

This was a fun and inspiring conversation with a true neighbor and local hero. Don’t miss it!
