Lefty's barge pulls into Shell Island and the crew splits up. Drip stays on the Float with Lefty and his family, while Mr. 4 and Dally take a trip inland to the elegant resort called the Conch. But what's behind the Skreegull attacks that have the villagers so fearful, and why don't the Vushtin stay on the island at night?
