In this episode of The Beacons Are Lit: A Lord of the Rings Podcast we at long last discuss actual episodes of The Rings of Power. We dive into both Episode 1 (A Shadow of the Past) and Episode 2 (Adrift). Does the show hold up to the price tag of a billion dollars, the weight of the greatest film trilogy, and the expectations of millions of adoring fans and hate filled internet trolls to create a good show? Within these first two episodes the answer is… sometimes! We discuss the major storylines and what we like, what we don’t like, speculate on what’s to come, and worry how it all ties together.
