The injury, which occurred on the first play of the third quarter, added to Rodgers existing wrist fractures. Backup quarterback Mason Rudolph entered the game but threw an interception, further compounding the Steelers struggles. Rodgers returned to the field but had a challenging day, completing only six of thirteen passes for fifty-four yards before the injury.
