Russia and Belarus are taking part in a joint military exercise dubbed "Zapad 2025" to showcase the close defence ties between the two countries.

The excercise comes amid a tense time in eastern Europe, with Russian drones entering NATO territory in Poland and Romania as the war in Ukraine rages on.
