The Ohio State Buckeyes are having an exceptional season, currently undefeated and dominating opponents by an average of over twenty-five points. Head coach Ryan Day has been nominated for the George Munger Award, given to the most outstanding collegiate coach. Despite losing both coordinators from last years championship team, Day has led the Buckeyes to a perfect ten-and-zero record and the number one ranking. The teams defense is the best in college football, while the offense ranks impressively despite often pulling starters in the fourth quarter. Several Buckeyes, including Day, are in contention for top individual honors. The George Munger Award will announce its finalists on December eighth and the winner on December thirtieth, with the formal presentation in March.
