Rémy Cointreau's Q2 sales plummeted by 11%, missing expectations, due to sluggish US and Chinese markets. The company now predicts flat to slightly positive organic sales growth and a steeper EBIT drop. US cognac sales grew, but total depletion volumes dropped. Chinese cognac sales plunged by 25% due to tighter economic policies. European, Middle Eastern, and African cognac sales also slipped by double digits.
