Hello yarn friends!

The first episode of the Make Joy podcast is finally here - thank you for listening!

When doing something scary or outside of your comfort zone, it’s always great to have a friend along for the ride, and I’m so happy that Aleks Byrd agreed to be with me on this first episode.

Aleks and I travelled to Estonia earlier this year on a knitting retreat with Stitchtopia holidays and it was amazing to see the country that Aleks loves so much, and learn about it through their knitting traditions.

On this first episode of the podcast we chat about Aleks’ Estonian knitting heritage, her design style, plus the inspiration for her new book due out later this year with Laine Publishing. And there’s a lightening round too!
