Episode 17 of Panther Profiles features SVHS senior, Lila Smaglinski. Lila gives us background on how agriculture was introduced into her life and how she incorporates that into her school life here at SV.
The “Paint the Rain” contest is sponsored by the Berks County Conservation District. High schools throughout Berks County can participate in the rain barrel painting contest, and the rain barrels will be judged by the public on Friday, April 22nd from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Berks County Ag Center. They will be auctioned off to the public and all proceeds will go to the Berks County Conservation District Scholarship Fund which supports students who wish to major in environmental related fields in college.
