Description

Trans in The City Exec Directors; Emily Hamilton, Leah Beckbridge and Skye Morden chat with Vicky Hodges about Transgender Day of Visibility (TDoV), which is celebrated every year on March 31st.

We discuss the purpose of TDoV, why it's important to the Trans and Non-Binary community, the reasons why we celebrate it and what it means to us on a personal level.

TDoV is one of three main events in the year that celebrates Trans and Non-Binary people, other events include Trans Awareness Week (TAW) and Trans Day of Remembrance (TDoR).

TDoV - Transgender Day of Visibility March 31st

TAW - Transgender Awareness Week November 13th - 19th

TDoR - Transgender Day of Remembrance November 20th
