She doesn't deserve to be sitting there for so long. whether 17 or not she was still a kid who endured years of abuse trying to reach out for help and getting the door shut on her face each time. put yourself in her shoes and tell me you wouldn't react the same way after all that. she's done her time. let her have a chance at life already!
I know that she made some bad choices but it is heartbreaking to hear what her future looks like. It is bleak. I cannot blame her for wanting to get out of a world that didn't give her chance to begin with.
