Description

Sally Cowling of Brighton Festival tells Melita Dennett about The Gabriels Trilogy - a landmark series of plays that follows one American family throughout the turbulent election year of 2016.

Written by Tony Award-winning playwright and director Richard Nelson who returns to the Brighton Festival following the acclaimed run of his The Apple Family Plays in 2015.

We also find out about Endings by Australian artist Tamara Saulwick. Using portable turntables, reel-to-reel tape players, recorded interviews and live music from folk singer Paddy Mann, the work has been described as part soundscape, part theatre piece.
