Description

Erica Rose Jeffrey is an extraordinary leader in the arts and dance community. She started dancing at the age of 4 in Montana, USA and has performed internationally with a number of notable companies. Erica has found her own path to navigate within the arts and has successfully completed University study including a Masters and has just finished a PHD. As the Director of Dance of Parkinson’s Australia, a program she brought to Australia in 2012 she talks about this wonderful community dance experience that has spread through Australia in great detail. Erica is the first dancer to be appointed Rotary World Peace Fellow for her work and passion in dance for peace building she is also the Director of Peace and Conflict Studies Institute Australia and will discuss this interesting topic in Part 2. In Part 1 Erica will expand your idea of what dance means and can be presented, engaged and enjoyed.
