Description

In the second "Inspiring Women" interview in our current series, Chrissy chats to top menopause coach, Lauren Chiren from "Women of a Certain Stage" and finds out why Rosa Parks and Ruth Bader Ginsberg have inspired her personal mission to bring a greater understanding of the menopause into women's lives and work places. We discuss the ways in which Lauren's coaching work educates people of all ages and genders about the menopause and women's health and well-being.

Lauren recounts her own very personal story of how she unexpectedly went through the menopause in her 40's and believed she had early onset dementia whilst she was working in a top executive career and was a single parent. We discover how that led her into running a coaching business, to ensure that no other woman has to go through similar experiences.

We also discuss the important impact that an inspirational female teacher can have on a your life and tell our own stories about 2 wonderful female teachers - both Scottish women - who inspired us.
