Teenaa Kaur Pasricha, a filmmaker and screenwriter was diagnosed with Breast Cancer right after she came to know that her film ‘1984: When the Sun didn’t Rise’ had won a National Film Award for ‘Best Investigative Film’ in 2018. Her Chemotherapy sessions began right after she received the award. Teenaa is a firm believer in the power of Homeopathy, Ayurveda and raw food diet and believes the combination of these three things helped her cope up with the side effects of chemotherapy and live a healthier life.
October being the month of Breast Cancer Awareness, Teenaa aims to create more awareness about big C and how Breast Cancer should not be a taboo word in our society anymore!
